Mindszentpuszta is a former settlement of special atmosphere in the Vértes Mountains, surrounded by forests, which currently belongs to the administrative area of Oroszlány. The history of the once-inhabited puszta is closely intertwined with the forestry and game management of the Vértes, as well as the past of the Esterházy estate. The buildings and ruins still standing deep in the forest preserve the memory of a once-living small community. Due to its secluded location, the surrounding massive forest block, and its rich wildlife, Mindszentpuszta remains one of the quietest and most atmospheric spots in the Vértes, where the natural and historical heritage of the landscape come particularly close to each other. The Mindszentpuszta Tourist Hostel reopened its doors on July 22, 2026, after being completely renewed with the support of the Active and Ecotourism Development Center, within the framework of the Ödön Téry National Tourist Hostel Development Program. Situated along the route of the National Blue Trail, the modern tourist hostel welcomes hikers in the Vértes with five rooms, a total of 49 beds, and an orderly campsite.
